The ROCKPANEL Group is part of ROCKWOOL B.V.  The company manufactures board material for exterior cladding from the sustainable resource, basalt rock. ROCKPANEL products combine all the benefits of stone and wood. For many years, ROCKPANEL board material has been used in countries across Europe for finishing facades, and for details and features around the roof. More often, ROCKPANEL products are applied in ventilated constructions, where they contribute to a healthy internal climate for the building, whether that is for a housing development, manufacturing facility, or a public or commercial building.

This is the role

The Business Manager NL is responsible for the realization of the sales growth objectives in the Netherlands in line with the ROCKWOOL policies and the annual country sales plan by managing the Dutch sales team. Next to that the position entails the development of the ROCKPANEL sales volume in the own sales region Zuid-Holland, by developing, maintaining and extending meaningful relationships with customers, façade builders, contractors, architects, housing associations and distributors.  You, as Business Manager NL will implement the Sales Management Process and improve Sales Excellence. The Business Manager NL sets-up and realizes the yearly country and area account plan and you support area sales managers to define area account plans for the remaining regions. You will manage the sales process through the CRM system and ensure that the team works accordingly based on monthly report evaluation.  The Business Manager NL evaluates the market and support and update the Business Director to be able to predict our business. Together with the Manager Business Development, you will support the yearly marketing and sales plans.

This is what you offer

  • A higher vocational or university degree;
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, verbally and in written;
  • 5+ years of sales experience and 2+ years of sales management experience;
  • A proven ability in people and sales management, preferable with a background in the building industry;
  • Good stress-tolerance level, analytical, empathic and team building mentality;
  • Project Management skills.
